## Description

As a physical therapist at Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society, you will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Your goal will be to improve their quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing physical function.

You will plan, organise, and deliver physical therapy programmes that help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. You will also educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises to be continued at home.

Responsibilities include:

- Planning, organising, and delivering physical therapy programmes

- Documenting patient information for evaluation

- Educating patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises

- Demonstrating documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements

- Analysing and recording the therapeutic progress of patients

- Following guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process

Qualifications include:

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist

- When applicable, may require a valid driver's license

- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
