## Description

As a Data Engineer Intern at Lyft, you will work alongside top engineers, contributing to user-facing products and seeing your work go live quickly. You will own your project, ensuring it is left in a better state than when you found it, and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.

Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of your project and collaborate with team members

- Ensure code quality through progressive refactoring and testing

- Participate in code reviews and continuous integration and deployment

- Contribute to improving the lives of Lyft drivers and passengers

Experience:

- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related major from a Canadian university

- Graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028

- Available for an internship in Toronto during Summer 2027

- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, SQL, and data modeling

- Experience working with databases and excellent communication skills

- Interest in solving large-scale data problems and passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation
