## Description

Pfizer is seeking a Controllers Global Accounting (CGA) Senior Accountant to support accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities across various accounting processes and business areas.

The Senior Accountant will work under general supervision, applying accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and analytical skills to support accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet analyses, SOX controls, supporting schedules, and other required month-end and quarter-end close deliverables

- Analyzing financial data, investigating routine and moderately complex variances, researching accounting guidance, and supporting the resolution of accounting and operational issues

- Managing assigned deliverables, prioritizing multiple responsibilities, proactively identifying issues, and consistently meeting reporting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Supporting a strong control environment through the execution of SOX controls, maintenance of process documentation, and adherence to internal policies and procedures

- Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement efforts, and participating in transformational initiatives designed to improve efficiency, standardization, and value creation across the organization

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $71,500.00 to $119,100.00, with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
