## Description

We are seeking a Customer Team Member to join our team at Co-op, located at Hoyland Road, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 0NE. The role involves working part-time, 12 hours per week, with regular overtime, on a 12-month temporary contract.

As a Customer Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service in our local Co-op store. Your duties will include working on our Post Office Counters, supporting the day-to-day running of the store, and contributing to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers

- Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly

- Support transactions on the post office counter and shop floor

- Maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy

- Ensure the store is safe and legal

- Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community

Requirements:

- A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service

- The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team

- An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential)
