## Description

The NW London Maternal Medicine Network was established in 2022. We are seeking a senior midwife to work 7.5 hours a week as Co-Lead Midwife alongside the Lead Midwife. The role involves supporting the development of maternal medicine midwifery across NW London.

Responsibilities:

- Leading and facilitating further development of maternal medicine midwifery practice and roles in each maternity unit

- Supporting local teams to develop business cases to develop or increase the maternal medicine midwifery team

- Implementing relevant aspects of the NHS Maternal Care Bundle (2026)

- Working as part of the Network leadership team in developing and implementing a shared vision for midwifery within the Network

Requirements:

- Registered Midwife, NMC registrant

- Educated to Masters' level in a relevant subject, or for completion within 12 months

- Operational management experience in an acute hospital setting

- Substantial experience of teaching and mentoring junior staff

- Relevant acute care and/or maternal medicine clinic experience

- Familiarity with Microsoft IT applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint)
