## Description

We are seeking a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our Emergency Department team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The successful candidate will provide expert assessment and treatment for patients with acute medical, trauma-related, and complex functional needs.

The role involves managing complex caseloads, adopting coaching and mentoring approaches with junior staff, and contributing to service development and quality improvements. The ideal candidate will be an innovative team player who can work alongside the service lead and peers to develop the newly established service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing expert assessment and treatment for patients in the Emergency Department

- Formulating and implementing timely, patient-centred discharge plans

- Supervising and mentoring junior staff

- Contributing to service development and quality improvements

- Participating in clinical governance meetings and departmental improvements

The salary for this position ranges from £49,387 to £56,515 per annum.
