## Description

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team in Wodonga.

In this hands-on role, you'll support day-to-day kitchen and catering operations, helping deliver high-quality food service while maintaining exceptional hygiene, food safety, and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and service

- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards across all kitchen and service areas

- Wash, sanitise, and organise kitchen equipment and utensils

- Receive, store, and rotate stock while supporting inventory management

- Support catering events and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

About you:

- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food service, or a commercial kitchen

- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a team

- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices

- Reliable, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Flexible with shifts and willing to learn and grow within the catering industry
