## Description

As a Christmas Customer Assistant - Shift Lead at Elgin Simply Food, you will lead the fill operation, delivering a salesfloor that is ready to trade, taking operational responsibility for coordinating resource to Serve, Sell, and Fill. You will also lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill operation

- Leading the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way, and driving productivity in readiness for store opening

- Allocating resource effectively to deliver a quick payment experience

- Enabling daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across the store

- Coordinating the team to deliver a clean, safe, and well-presented store

- Role modelling great Customer Service and M&S behaviours

- Supporting Colleague Managers and sharing observations to help deliver high performance

- Being a key holder and answering call outs as required

- Performing tasks related to opening and closing the building, including receipt of vehicles and temperature controls

The work pattern for this role is as follows:

- Week One: Sunday 11:30-19:30, Friday 05:45-13:45, Saturday 05:45-13:45

- Week Two: Thursday 05:45-13:45, Friday 13:45-21:30, Saturday 13:45-21:30

This is a part-time, flexible shift role.
