## Description

As a Vault Unit Manager within Capital One Auto, you will lead an onsite team of 15+ agents who are responsible for the processing, storage, and maintenance of funded auto contracts within the Vault.

Responsibilities:

- Achieve business goals for a team of up to 15+ associates.

- Provide continuous feedback and coaching to associates.

- Oversee day-to-day vault operations, including core workflows such as processing paper contracts through their entire loan lifecycle, preparing Credit Bureau Reporting dispute letters, auditing existing contracts, and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from the department’s shared email inbox.

- Define and measure performance metrics and clearly communicate to team associates.

- Prepare and deliver performance reviews for direct reports.

- Motivate and develop associates and help them achieve their career aspirations.

- Manage business level metrics to high efficiency standards.

- Share in the accountability for a business level function team (Logistics, quality, innovation, morale).

- Execute flawless management of projects assigned to the unit.

- Ensure timely administrative responsibilities of time cards, spreadsheets, team meetings, etc.

- Review escalations daily to solve complex issues and address items with delays.

- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners.

- Review reporting on team and individual levels to measure performance impact.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification.

- At least 2 years of experience in people management.

- At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of experience in people management.

- At least 2 years of experience in an operational role within the financial services industry.

- At least 2 years of experience in process management.

Location: Plano, TX (Plano 5) - This role is an essential position and requires onsite attendance. This team currently operates with 5 days in the office.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm CT

Salary: $80,800 - $92,200 per year.
