We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Cryptography (CRYP) Control Owner. This role is part of our Cybersecurity department.

As the Control Owner for the Cryptography (CRYP) control, you will be accountable for providing the first line of defence for the organisation for all matters relating to Cryptography controls. You will drive the implementation of controls to protect the group's key data.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining the accuracy and alignment of the CRYP control to the bank's Risk Control framework.

Managing, reporting, and improving performance metrics (KCIs).

Ensuring Cryptography controls align with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices, and supporting compliance efforts.

Maintaining internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Responding to informal control queries and formal review and challenges and observations.

Collaborating with senior stakeholders to facilitate understanding and alignment of CRYP control objectives, including business units, audit and regulators.

Fostering a community of collaboration/knowledge sharing across all Control Owners in Global Defence.

Developing and delivering training and awareness programs to educate stakeholders and communities within Cyber about the Cryptography control strategy.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Technical background in technology, preferably in the Cryptography area.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Cybersecurity and business units.

Problem-solving skills and ability to identify and remediate challenges in governance processes.
