## Description

Capital One's Card Data Management (CDM) team seeks a Senior Manager, Data Analysis to lead a team in driving AI automation strategy for Card Data. You will champion LLM tools like Gemini and Claude to automate complex data validation processes and establish proactive metrics.

Responsibilities:

- Refine a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework

- Plan and execute validation projects

- Assess the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies across Capital One

- Understand technical issues in analytical tools and assess tools risks and opportunities

- Independently research industry best practices for emerging analytical tools

- Communicate results clearly and concisely via validation reports and presentations

- Coach and mentor junior staff

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 7+ years of data analytics experience

- Master's Degree with 5+ years of data analytics experience

- 5+ years of professional data analysis work

- 5+ years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies

- 2+ years of experience managing people

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research

- Experience with LLM technologies like Gemini and Claude

- 7+ years of statistical or econometrics hands-on work

- 5+ years of experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets

- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry

- 5+ years of experience developing statistical or econometric models

- 2+ years of experience with data governance and predictive analytics

The role is hybrid, with associates expected to spend three days per week in the office. Salary ranges from $182,500 to $229,100 depending on location.
