## Description

We are seeking experienced Test Managers to join our Transformation and Technology team at HM Land Registry. As a Test Manager, you will be accountable for setting a clear direction to implement quality across all teams, creating project Quality Strategies, and providing expert advice and guidance to enable teams to embed good practice principles.

Responsibilities:

- Setting a clear direction to implement quality across all teams

- Creating project Quality Strategies

- Providing expert advice and guidance to enable teams to embed good practice principles

- Providing in-depth, expert technical guidance to project teams on complex technical or high-risk areas

- Maintaining a managed view of all test activity to ensure that testing is being appropriately carried out across all project teams

- Developing and monitoring metrics to measure quality

- Developing capability and skills within the test discipline

- Providing expert, timely, and considered advice to senior decision makers on quality issues

- Building and managing relationships with external organisations and companies

This role may involve occasional travel, including stays away from home, and may include weekend working to provide support to live assurance testing during deployment to Production.

Person specification:

- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager in Software Testing OR proven track record in Test Management and leading digital teams

- Experience of creating robust strategy and plans to ensure quality

- Experience of testing levels (from Unit to Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT))

- Experience of continuous integration practices and managing multiple workstreams

- Ability to manage risk and implement mitigation plans

- Experience of upskilling others in test automation and test techniques
