## Description

We are seeking a Classification Specialist to work with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on a virtual basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing position classification and evaluation support to Lines of Business and Staff Offices.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Classification) and provide position classification and evaluation support

- Develop job descriptions and classify positions in accordance with applicable position classification standards

- Implement standardized position descriptions for various occupations

- Advise managers on designing positions for a complex organization

- Maintain and ensure position classification accuracy and consistency

- Provide management with insight into establishing efficient and cost-effective organizational structures

- Communicate internal classification policies and procedures

- Conduct position reviews and desk audits as assigned

- Develop audit reports

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field, or a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible staffing, talent acquisition, or related HR experience

- MS Office Suite proficiency

- Experience with classifications

- Federal Government Staffing or Human Resources experience

The pay range for this role is $92,300.00 - $166,850.00.
