As a Data Governance Advisor, you will play a critical role in operationalising and continuously improving Prudential Vietnam's Data Governance Framework.

**Accountability:** The Data Governance Advisor is responsible for driving enterprise Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, Data Stewardship, and Critical Data Element (CDE) governance to ensure that data is trusted, protected, compliant, and effectively utilised for business and regulatory purposes.

**Responsibility:**

- Governance Framework Implementation: Support the implementation, adoption, and continuous enhancement of Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with Group requirements and local regulations.

- Data Ownership & Stewardship: Coordinate and support the network of Data Owners and Data Stewards across the organisation.

- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures throughout the organisation.

- Metadata Management: Lead enterprise Metadata Management activities including Business Glossary, Data Catalogue, Metadata maintenance, and Data Lineage documentation.

- Data Quality Management: Lead Data Quality Management activities including Critical Data Element (CDE) identification, Data Quality rule definition, threshold management, monitoring, and reporting.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Engineering, Data Privacy, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Group stakeholders to align governance standards, requirements, and priorities.

- Training and Advocacy: Provide training, awareness sessions, and guidance to stakeholders on Data Governance policies, standards, procedures, and tools.

- Issue Management & Governance Reporting: Coordinate the identification, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking of data governance and Data Quality issues.

**Job requirements:**

## 1. Technical Skills

- Preferred certifications: DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent Data Management certification.

- Knowledge of Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, Master Data Management, and Enterprise Data Management practices.

- Project Management skill is advantageous.

## 2. General Skills

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

- Process design, documentation, and governance framework implementation experience.

- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.

- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

- Fluent business English.

## 3. Experience & Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.

- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Enterprise Data Management, or related data disciplines.

- Experience working with Data Governance platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, or equivalent solutions.

- Experience in financial services, insurance, or highly regulated industries is preferred.

- Experience working with regional or global governance frameworks is an advantage.
