## Description

Join our friendly and supportive nursery team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Early Years Practitioner. We are seeking a kind, thoughtful, and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our dedicated team at First Steps Nursery for Ashford Hospital.

The successful candidate will be involved in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing nurturing day-to-day care, observing children's development, and sharing positive feedback with parents.

The main duties of the job include:

- Providing a stimulating, caring, and learning environment for children

- Developing links with parents and encouraging parental participation

- Engaging in all physical aspects of children's health, wellbeing, care, and play

- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information

- Attending regular team meetings and annual staff training

As a Key worker, you will be responsible for a designated group of children, participating in their supervision, and enabling them to thrive.

We offer a competitive salary of £27,106 to £28,850 per annum, plus the full range of NHS benefits and discounts.

The post is permanent, full-time, and based at Ashford Hospital.

### Required
- NVQ3 in Childcare and Education
- Previous experience working with children 3 months - 5 years
