## Description

As a Social Media Moderator at 3M, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with innovative people around the world.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing, responding, and moderating comments and direct messages on social media platforms, and escalating complex or sensitive issues to higher management or specialized teams

- Ensuring all content adheres to community guidelines, legal policies, and platform standards, and maintaining a positive user experience by ensuring a safe and respectful online environment

- Identifying and flagging inappropriate content such as offensive language, graphic images, hate speech, or spam

- Maintaining a thorough understanding of community standards, policies, and trends

- Providing feedback and suggestions for improving moderation processes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher

- At least 2 years of experience in social media moderation, community management, or a related field

- Strong communication skills, particularly in reading and writing in English and in a specific language assigned

- Experience with specific social media platforms

- Ability to work on-site at 3M GBS Philippines location

- Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines without sponsorship

Additional qualifications that could be beneficial include:

- Proven experience in content moderation, community management, or a related field

- Strong understanding of internet culture, trends, and online behavior

- Familiarity with content moderation tools and platforms

- Excellent attention to detail and decision-making skills

- Knowledge of legal issues related to online content
