## Description

Join HSBC's Global Service Center as a Consultant Specialist - SRE. You'll contribute to the stability, scalability, and automation of cloud-based production environments, ensuring high-performing services.

**Main Activities:**

- Maintain and support production systems for high availability, reliability, and scalability.

- Implement SRE best practices, including monitoring, alerting, SLOs/SLIs, and incident response.

- Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Develop and configure CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.

- Collaborate with teams to address issues and drive improvements.

- Participate in on-call support rotation and incident resolution.

- Document procedures, configurations, and post-incident reviews.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Production Support roles.

- Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.

- Scripting/programming proficiency in Python, Bash, Go.

- Strong troubleshooting skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.

- Awareness of ITIL, incident/change management.

- Experience working in 24x7 or high-availability production environments.
