## Description

Join WSP as a Building Structure Technician and contribute to shaping the communities of tomorrow.

As a Building Structure Technician, you will play a crucial role in the technical production, modeling, and coordination of structural projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing high-quality structural plans and details for construction, rehabilitation, and building expansion projects

- Conducting 3D modeling and preparing technical drawings using specialized design and drawing software

- Collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective and innovative technical solutions

- Participating in discipline coordination to ensure harmonious integration of different building systems

- Updating and revising plans according to project developments and client requirements

- Contributing to the preparation of tender documents and construction documents

- Supporting project teams during site inspections and monitoring work compliance

- Participating in continuous improvement of design processes and tools to enhance quality and efficiency of deliverables

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering, architecture technology, or a related field

- At least 2 years of relevant experience in building structure design or drafting

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit Structure, or other modeling and computer-aided design software

- Good knowledge of structural materials such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonry

- Ability to interpret complex plans, estimates, and technical documents

- Experience in a BIM environment and multidisciplinary coordination, a significant asset

- Attention to detail, rigor, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative teams
