## Description

As a Runner at Soho House's Ludlow House location, you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.

Your main duties will include:

- Preparing tables, serving orders, and explaining meals to guests

- Facilitating collaboration between kitchen and servers

- Providing quality service to members and guests

- Refilling water glasses and coffee cups, clearing finished dishes, and replenishing table supplies

- Expediting food orders and ensuring they are plated and served correctly

- Accommodating special requests from guests and providing alternative solutions when needed

- Working effectively in a high-volume environment, thinking quickly on your feet, and managing guest needs

- Ensuring adherence to health and safety policies and company procedures

- Collaborating with servers, the Executive Chef, and General Manager to support the team

- Cleaning and stocking server alley and expo area

- Having knowledge of the menu to make suggestions to members and guests

To succeed in this role, you should:

- Have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity

- Be able to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and problem-solve under pressure

- Possess excellent customer service skills and be approachable, hospitable, and respectful towards colleagues and guests

- Be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays

- Demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School

- Be tips certified and have POS knowledge
