## Description

We're seeking a seasoned credit and capital sales professional to drive growth in our capital products, focusing on high-value mid-market brands with annual sales revenues between $20M and $500M.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will leverage your expertise in lending to structure and close credit deals while thriving in Mercury's dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Building and maintaining a high-quality pipeline through self-prospecting, outbound campaigns, and strategic networking

- Conducting deep discovery to understand businesses' growth trajectories, cash flow patterns, and capital needs

- Structuring compelling, credit-sound offers for complex, high-value deals in collaboration with underwriting

- Managing long, multi-stakeholder deal cycles and negotiating deal terms that balance growth ambitions with credit discipline

- Identifying opportunities to expand relationships into other Mercury products

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- 3+ years of quota-carrying experience selling credit, lending, or capital products at a fintech lender, bank, or similar provider

- A track record of closing deals with businesses generating $20M+ in revenue

- Comfort with credit fundamentals, including cash flow, underwriting considerations, and deal structuring

- Experience managing complex sales cycles requiring internal alignment and external persuasion

- Ability to self-source pipeline through outbound efforts and relationship-building
