## Description

Electronic Arts seeks a Development Director for EA Sports FC in Vancouver, Canada. As a Development Director, you will manage various disciplines, including artists, designers, software engineers, QA, and production staff. You will oversee project schedules, ensuring quality, collaboration, and communication.

Responsibilities:

- Manage team priorities, processes, and execution to align with product and business objectives.

- Establish project schedules based on task estimates and determine resource requirements.

- Assign tasks from project goals and achieve deliverables by managing a team at a project level.

- Build and evolve effective teams, identifying resourcing needs and providing growth opportunities.

- Foster working relationships with the immediate team and external stakeholders.

- Provide line management to employees across departments within a single project team.

- Communicate regularly with the project team and coordinate dependencies with external partners.

- Participate in hiring to ensure candidates meet project requirements.

- Proactively mitigate risks for assigned scope and quality.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 8 years of project management or team leadership experience, with 4+ years of management experience.

- Proven ability to build and improve operational processes, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes.

- Experience managing, coaching, and developing team members.

- Experience communicating across all levels and organisations.

- Experience with project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

- University degree, Bachelor's, or equivalent professional experience.
