## Description

We are seeking a Decision Analyst to join our team at Barclays, where you will extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, develop robust decision models, and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders across departments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Identify and extract relevant data from various internal and external sources

- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning

- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing models

- Develop and implement data quality control procedures

- Build and validate quantitative models to support decision-making across different business areas

**Assistant Vice President Expectations:**

- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function

- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraise performance relative to objectives, and determine reward outcomes

**Requirements:**

- Experience in synthesizing business knowledge, market research, and analytics to drive strategic outcomes

- Understanding of value drivers across products and services, linking customer, operational, and financial levers

- Ability to break down complex challenges using frameworks such as MECE, hypothesis-driven approaches, 5 WHYs, 80/20, and decision trees

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and Tableau to transform data into actionable insights

- Strong communication and storytelling skills
