## Description

As a Demi Chef de Partie Pastry, you will be responsible for executing production in the Pastry area and stations according to company recipes and presentation, as directed by the Executive Pastry & Bakery Chef or Chef de Partie Pastry.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Executing production in the Pastry area and stations according to company recipes and presentation

- Maintaining assigned section recipe files and ensuring they are available to assigned staff

- Practicing batch cooking and preparation for soufflés, puddings, crème brûlée, and other pastry items

- Supervising and mentoring Commis Pastry in an assigned service station during operational activities

- Assisting in on-the-job training for new hire Pastry staff as directed by the Executive Pastry & Bakery Chef or Chef De Partie Pastry

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a formal qualification in Pastry Arts from a recognized culinary training institution, at least four years of pastry experience, and recent experience in high-volume Pastry production preferably from large hotels/resorts or cruise ships.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have a solid knowledge of international pastry recipes and preparation processes, USPH Standards, Food Safety, and Waste Management. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
