## Description

As a Galley Steward with Princess Cruises, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the galley area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow Princess Cruises' operational methods and seek advice from the Galley Supervisor if necessary.

- Adhere to USPHS principles and Princess Cruises procedures.

- Work as part of a cleaning team to clean and sanitize galley equipment and service locations.

- Recycle cooking service equipment before, during, and after service.

- Assist with unloading and storing food deliveries.

- Participate in scheduled deep cleaning and everyday cleaning operations.

- Report equipment defects to the Galley Supervisor, Executive Chef, or Food Manager.

- Perform duties in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Conduct galley cleaning in compliance with Princess Cruises' environmental regulations and objectives.

- Perform General Emergency Organization duties as directed.

- Demonstrate commitment to the Company's values, beliefs, goals, and initiatives.

- Act as a Company representative and portray a positive image of Princess Cruises.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- At least one year of experience as a Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher in large restaurants, hotels, or the cruise industry.

- Working knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices and procedures in the food service industry.

- Good oral and written command of the English language.

- Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.

- Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.

- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
