## Description

Join Amazon's dynamic AWS team as a Data Center Technician, playing a critical role in maintaining global cloud infrastructure. You will ensure seamless data center operations, powering millions of businesses and services worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

- Performing server rack installations, hardware repairs, and network troubleshooting

- Responding to operational incidents and escalating to senior technicians and management as needed

- Serving as a primary contact point for internal and external stakeholders

- Participating in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities

- Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives

- Helping to train and onboard new team members

Physical requirements:

- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds

- Work in cramped and/or elevated locations

- Bend, lift, stretch, and reach

- Stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day

- Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely

- Work in a noisy environment

- Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations

Requirements:

- 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience

- High school or equivalent diploma

- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed

- Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods

Preferred qualifications:

- Knowledge of network design, protocols, and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting

- Associate's degree in a relevant field

- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system

- Experience in a data center or other critical environment
