## Description

Join the team at Target as a Starbucks Barista! As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience by curating handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food, managing food quality and freshness, and upholding food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

- Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience

- Greet guests and help them find what they need

- Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas

- Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience

- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards

- Execute food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy

- Follow all Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent experience for guests

- Support the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure digital guest orders are fulfilled accurately and on time

- Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout shift

- Engage with guests to meet and exceed their expectations based on Starbucks standards

- Produce handcrafted beverages and food to specifications

- Follow all food safety requirements

- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the Starbucks space

- Locate and identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to best practices

- Ensure accurate in-stocks by placing store-initiated orders according to best practices

- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures

- Execute sampling best practices

- Complete all required training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all safety policies

- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

- Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

- Work both independently and with a team

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
