## Description

We are seeking a Principal Associate to join our Energy, Power and Renewables Banking team in Houston, TX. You will play a critical role in supporting marketing activities and executing debt/equity capital markets, loan syndications, and advisory transactions for corporate and sponsor clients.

Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain marketing materials and pitch books

- Develop and update comps databases to track industry trends, company profiles, and transaction details

- Build and maintain transaction-specific models and analysis, such as merger models, valuation analysis, and acquisition financing models

- Keep the broader banking team informed with regular updates on transactions and deal reports

- Draft industry, sector, and company-specific reports and presentations for internal use and client meetings

- Support deal execution during capital markets, loan syndications, and advisory processes

- Participate in due diligence sessions and assist with special projects to support new business generation

- Collaborate with the Underwriting and Credit teams on transactions

- Interact with corporate management teams, principals from financial sponsors, and members of the general investor community

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or military experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and multitask

- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's in Business Administration

- At least 1 year of banking experience in corporate banking, capital markets, or investment banking

- FINRA Licenses Series 79 and 63

- Experience with financial modeling

- Formal Credit Training
