## Description

We are seeking a Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Design SME to support our organisation in achieving its strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will operate within the second line of defence, providing deep Financial Crime subject matter expertise across the end-to-end CDD lifecycle.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.

- Develop business requirements to address business problems and opportunities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.

- Support the creation of business cases and conduct feasibility studies.

- Create operational design and process design to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.

**Vice President Expectations:**

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.

- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.

**Requirements:**

- Advanced expertise in UK and international AML/Financial Crime regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to design, optimise, and govern CDD controls.

- Deep practical expertise across the end-to-end CDD lifecycle.

- Ability to define, review, and challenge business, risk, and control requirements.

- Strong understanding of CDD systems, data flows, workflows, and technology architecture.
