As a People Business Partner, you will serve as a vital liaison between the People Team and the business, playing a role that is pivotal in supporting our people and driving business outcomes. ### Responsibilities: - Act as a tactical partner to business stakeholders as it relates to key initiatives and proactively mitigate legal and compliance risks, investigating and addressing employee relations concerns effectively. - Actively execute and make informed decisions within established policies, enhancing employee experience by creating solutions within existing frameworks. - Participate in organizational design conversations to streamline and implement new department structures, roles and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands. - Act as the subject matter expert for FMLA, CFRA, state protected and personal leaves, managing precise tracking, eligibility determinations, and return-to-work timelines. - Manage reasonable accommodation and leave requests, coordinating with stakeholders to implement effective return-to-work and transitional work plans. - Coach employees on company policies, employee communication, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development. - Develop close partnerships with functional teams to deliver integrated solutions to related needs. - Provide performance management guidance to management. - Find innovative ways for leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and efficiency. - Leverage metrics and analytics to inform strategies, measure progress against organizational goals. - Execute and identify change management strategies to support critical evolution of the business and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time. - Partner with People colleagues to identify key talent segments and pivotal roles. - Use employee lifecycle data to help the business make informed decisions about talent management strategies. - Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership, analyze trends, and recommend actionable solutions based on findings. - In partnership with the People Team's centers of expertise, lead and design specialized training programs where your expertise adds significant value. - Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures as needed. ### Requirements: - Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Confidence and Resilience: Managing unprecedented or challenging situations with a proactive approach to finding solutions - People First Leadership: A strong passion for supporting people and leading with a people-first mindset - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred - SHRM-CP or PHR a plus - Must be available to work standard west coast business hours ### Benefits: - 4% 401k match - Significant equity grants in a rapidly growing organization - Robust medical benefits - Full remote work from any of our currently approved US states - Generous internet & phone stipend - Flexible Time Off ## Skills ### Required - Communication - Leadership - HR - Business Administration ### Nice to have - SHRM-CP - PHR --- Source: [Apply at jobs.lever.co](https://jobs.lever.co/sandboxvr/7b4cc9b0-b855-446e-b70e-39c0f22e6ab0?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply)
