## Description

The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Engineer to join the F-15 Mission System Software Development Team located in Berkeley, MO.

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. You will design and implement new capabilities in the F-15 Operational Flight Program (OFP) for both the United States Air Force (USAF) and international customers.

Responsibilities:

- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems

- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system

- Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

- Executes and documents software research and development projects

- Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations

- Troubleshoots software issues

- Works under general direction

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

- 2+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada

- 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming language

- 2+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Agile/SAFe development experience

- Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab (CI/CD), Git Bash, Gradle, Jira, Jenkins, and Artifactory

- Desirable programming languages include: Ada, C, C++, Python

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels

- Experience developing embedded real-time software

- Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)

Salary Range:

- Associate: $99,450.00 - $134,550.00

- Experienced: $126,650.00 - $171,350.00

- Senior: $160,650.00 - $217,350.00
