## Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer - Enterprise Messaging and Exchange to lead the development, reliability, security, and evolution of its global employee communications and collaboration platforms.

The successful candidate will have deep ownership of Microsoft Exchange, Azure-based services, and SMTP/IMAP integrations, as well as experience with the broader enterprise SaaS ecosystem, including Slack, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Google Workspace.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Architect, implement, and operate highly available messaging solutions using Microsoft Exchange, Azure services, SMTP relays, and IMAP.

- Plan and execute server upgrades and monthly patching, ensuring compliance and audit requirements are met.

- Monitor health, performance, and capacity, analyzing logs and protocol flows to prevent incidents and optimize user experience.

- Implement encryption, email authentication, and anti-virus/anti-spam protections.

- Lead initiatives such as migrations, tenant consolidations, and M&A, defining requirements and integration points with enterprise messaging and exchange apps and services.

- Handle day-to-day operations and escalations, mentoring engineers and architects, and fostering a culture of learning and documentation.

- Partner on the management and operations of large-scale enterprise SaaS collaboration platforms.

- Develop a strategy to enhance the messaging and collaboration ecosystems with evolving technologies, including AI-driven automation.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience architecting and managing Exchange Server, hybrid/Exchange Online, Public Folders, SMTP, Active Directory, and Azure integrations.

- Demonstrable ability to take end-to-end ownership of service experience for users.

- Solid understanding of Exchange architecture, including DAGs and hybrid configurations.

- Highly motivated, passionate, and curious about new technologies, with superb communication and planning skills.

- Ability to work successfully with multi-functional teams, principals, and architects.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience leading large-scale messaging platforms and driving resolution for critical severity issues.

- Experience managing large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms.

- Ability to automate operations and administration of enterprise services leveraging AI, agents, and modern automation frameworks.

- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and Python scripting.

- Knowledge of networking concepts related to email.
