## Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Services team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial and management accounting and will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing local GAAP accounts, and providing financial information to tax teams.

Responsibilities include:

- Reviewing monthly profit and loss and balance sheet analysis for each country

- Ensuring balance sheets are adequately controlled

- Performing monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciling items

- Providing deal support and working with Sales, Service Excellence teams, and Portfolio Management teams on deals

- Investigating and rectifying errors/omissions in contracts/accounts

- Preparing local GAAP accounts and audits

- Providing financial information to tax teams

- Performing accounting and analysis activities that require significant judgement and technical skills

- Supporting internal audits, SOX audits, and tax audits

- Assisting with interim and year-end close external audits

- Updating Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) models and monthly reserve templates

- Reporting on Operational Risk

- Leading or providing expertise to cross-functional project teams

The ideal candidate will have:

- A qualification as an accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)

- Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst

- Experience in more than one finance function

- Excellent analytical skills and Windows application skills, particularly Excel

- Additional business application skills in Business Objects and Power BI would be beneficial

- Experience using AI technology such as Chat GPT and MS Copilot

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- Strong business acumen and project management skills
