## Description

WBIR-TV Knoxville, a TEGNA NBC affiliate, seeks a Multi-Market Digital Sales Manager to join its top-performing sales team. The successful candidate will grow digital revenue, manage and develop the digital sales skills of Account Executives and Account Managers, and build strategies to win clients.

Responsibilities:

- Create strategies for generating and achieving digital revenue goals

- Recruit, retain, and train top-performing sales and support talent

- Lead and develop a team of direct reports

- Support sales staff with coaching, client meetings, and proposal development

- Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification

- Analyze accounts to create ideal marketing executions for clients

- Develop strong relationships with local clients and ensure top-shelf service

- Review and adjust metrics to monitor sales/market share changes

Requirements:

- 5-7 years of digital sales and account engagement experience

- 2 years of team management experience

- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in digital media advertising

- Established leadership skills and ability to develop teams with elite sales and customer service skills

- Strategic thinker and disciplined executor

- Strong presenter and communicator

- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Analytics, Wide Orbit Sales, Salesforce, and other tools

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects under deadline pressure

- Travel up to 10%
