## Description

As a Seed Production Technician, you will operate machinery and equipment for production processes, manage our production grower network, and ensure production processes happen safely, effectively, and with quality.

Key responsibilities:

- Operate equipment and execute tasks to enable seed production processes.

- Lead and engage in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings.

- Mentor and train new employees, seasonal workforce, area trainees, and peers.

- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.

- Troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, processes, and systems.

- Apply operational excellence practices to operations (5S, Lean, Six Sigma, 5WHYs).

- Perform Site Responsible Researcher (SRR) duties.

- Ensure upstream activities are handled within company standards and business requirements.

- Collaborate with key partners to deliver the business across plant and field operations.

- Comply with internal procedures and support legal compliance related to area activities.

- Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to Bayer's Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards.

Required qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED.

- Valid Driver's License.

- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.

- Ability to work days, nights, rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.

We offer a salary between $25.69-$32.28 per hour, plus additional compensation, health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
