## Description

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering various services including food delivery, financial management, and transportation.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, Insurance, based in Indonesia and will develop complex backend systems powering end-to-end user journeys across all Insurance products available in multiple Grab apps.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform:

- Develop high-quality and scalable backend applications

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to solve challenging problems in the InsurTech domain

- Collaborate with diverse teams to design and ship new features

- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge

- Troubleshoot, debug complex issues, and provide quick resolutions

- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of projects

- Participate in On-Call rotations to ensure service reliability

QUALIFICATIONS: What Essential Skills You Will Need:

- Relevant experience in software development with proficiency in one of the major programming languages, e.g., Golang (preferred) and Java

- Relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle and code versioning systems like Git

- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, e.g., AWS

- Experience with clean architecture principles and ability to write extensible code for complex projects following SOLID principles

- Expertise in writing clean, efficient, maintainable code and documentation
