## Description

As a Payroll Specialist at EarnIn, you will support various aspects of payroll processing and General Ledger operations related to payroll.

This role involves processing payroll for domestic and international entities, making journal entries related to payroll and accruals, reconciling payroll-related accounts, and ensuring compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

The position is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the Mexico City office.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process domestic and international payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Maintain payroll records, including timesheets and employee deductions.

- Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, deductions, and timesheets.

- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare necessary journal entries.

- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system.

- Identify opportunities to improve payroll and accounting processes.

- Analyze financial data and explain variances.

- Assist with audits and provide required documentation.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of payroll and accounting experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.

- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Excel; WorkDay experience is a plus.

- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience working in a global culture.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
