## Description

We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Soho House Istanbul.

Responsibilities:

- Inform guests about special items for the day and menu changes

- Suggest food and beverages to guests and try to up-sell

- Take food and beverage orders from guests

- Ensure orders are correct by repeating them to guests

- Enter food and beverages into our Micros System

- Perform mise-en-place and adhere to duty checklists

- Complete basic cleaning tasks as needed

- Fill in for absent staff as needed

- Communicate with guests and provide assistance with queries

- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction

- Respond promptly to guest requests

- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards

- Be aware of allergy procedures

- Familiarise yourself with tasting notes for all menu items

- Assist other areas of the restaurant when needed

- Understand the waiter-cashing out procedure

- Ensure a proper handover before leaving your shift

Qualifications:

- Ability to work well under pressure

- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays

- Knowledge of POS devices

- Service knowledge

- Fluent spoken and written English
