## Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join Brent's Children and Young People with Disabilities Team. The successful candidate will support children and young people with substantial physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities.

The role involves undertaking specialist functional assessments, recommending specialist equipment and adaptations, and contributing to major home adaptations. The ideal candidate will be child-focused, clinically confident, and able to build effective relationships with children, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

- Undertaking specialist functional assessments

- Recommending specialist equipment, seating, and adaptations

- Developing moving and handling plans

- Contributing to major home adaptations

- Working closely with families, schools, and health professionals

The post offers a salary range of £44,685 - £48,003 per year, including London weighting, and a Golden Hello of £5000 and £3000 recruitment and retention allowance.

To be considered, applicants must be a qualified, HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with experience of undertaking comprehensive OT assessments and developing practical, evidence-based solutions.
