## Description

The Data Protection Sales Specialist role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise involves driving revenue growth across the Data Protection portfolio, building relationships with internal sellers, channel partners, and customers.

Responsibilities:

- Drive consistent revenue growth across the Data Protection portfolio

- Collaborate internally with other HPE Sales Organizations to develop new opportunities

- Direct and coordinate sales activities related to pipeline hygiene

- Negotiate and drive profitable deals

- Establish professional and consultative relationships with clients

- Leverage advanced knowledge of competitors and industry trends

- Focus on and work with the channel to forge relationships and co-sell to end-users

- Lead and evangelize Data Protection marketing campaigns

- Act as a trusted solutions consultant for slated accounts/region

- Reinforce and articulate HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners and champions

- Generate customer interest and anticipate buying trends

- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of field software solution sales experience

- At least 2 years of experience selling data protection and/or business continuity/disaster recovery and/or cyber resiliency solutions

- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding quota objectives

- Strong relationships in VAR/Reseller/Managed Provider ecosystem

- Cybersecurity knowledge and experience are a big plus
