## Description

We are seeking an experienced AP Accountant to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable tasks and accounting-related duties, including:

- Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

- Processing purchase orders and matching invoices

- Processing ad-hoc vendor check requests

- Responding to vendor inquiries

- Reconciling vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies

- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing

- Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

- Assisting with other projects as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting

- Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm, with 2-3 years of experience working in the accounting field

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, bilingual in English

- Strong Excel spreadsheet and database skills

- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines

- Ability to work in a team environment

- ERP knowledge desirable, preferably in Oracle/Coupa/Concur

- Manufacturing and consumer goods industry experience

- Ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance
