## Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist. This role involves Portfolio & Programme Management, Governance, Reporting Standards & Quality Assurance, Portfolio Forums & Executive Communication, Business Cases & Planning, Leadership & Collaboration.

The successful candidate will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of strategic portfolio outcomes that support business vision and purpose, delivered through complex, global change programmes. They will own and run portfolio governance across the Value Stream and Sub-Value Streams, partnering closely with Business Transformation Portfolio teams.

Key responsibilities include:

- Establishing and maintaining effective governance and oversight

- Identifying early warning indicators of delivery risk and driving resolution paths

- Providing clear portfolio status updates to central portfolio teams

- Embedding lessons learned and continuous improvement loops

- Applying agreed reporting standards and providing quality assurance

- Supporting Change Framework and reporting by agreeing and embedding consistent standards

- Quality assuring technical delivery tracking

- Driving thematic analysis across portfolio risks and issues

- Supporting and running Technology VS governance forums

- Ensuring CCM Tech Head and SVS Tech Leads are fully briefed on programme status

- Partnering with Business Transformation teams to standardise planning processes

- Overseeing technology inputs to business cases

- Building and sustaining long-term relationships with critical stakeholders

- Acting as an active member of the CCM Tech leadership team

- Collaborating with central portfolio teams to adopt best practices

The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in AI engineering, applied AI, software engineering, or related technical roles. They will possess strong Python development skills, experience building production-quality services, APIs, or automation workflows, and practical experience building RAG solutions or retrieval-based AI applications.
