## Description

Help families say the perfect goodbye to loved ones as part of our funeral service crew.

You’ll work part-time, 15 hours a week, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, with occasional night shift cover, and be part of the on-call rota.

Your tasks will include:

- Collecting the deceased from various locations and scenarios in a professional and empathetic manner

- Bearing coffins on the day of the funeral and driving funeral vehicles

- Maintaining equipment and facility cleanliness, including vehicles

- Preparing coffins and engraving name plates

- Preparing the deceased for viewings and funerals

- Managing client records daily, updating information accurately and on time

- Safely lifting, carrying, and moving coffins using proper techniques and equipment

You’ll need:

- A full UK manual driving licence

- Physical ability for manual lifting, with training provided for safe practices

- Good IT skills and confidence with technology devices

- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotional situations, providing sensitive customer service

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, adhering to regulatory policies and processes
