## Description

Howden Re is seeking a Fiduciary Accounting Analyst to join the Fiduciary Accounting Team. The successful candidate will monitor Fiduciary Bank Accounts, work with internal clients to ensure proper payment processing, and drive change by developing, honing, and improving team processes through ad hoc projects.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Monitor Fiduciary Bank accounts for daily activity

- Process cash receipts and apply cash against appropriate invoices

- Monitor the unallocated cash listing and work with Accounting and Claims Department to apply cash in a timely manner

- Process cash payments, review, release payments in the system, and upload payments to the bank for approval

- Assist in maintaining client payment instructions in the system and online banking systems

- Perform bank account reconciliations and daily system activity reconciliations

- Work on miscellaneous projects as assigned

**Qualifications:**

- 2 or 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance

- Reinsurance Fiduciary Accounting experience is a plus

- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel

- Understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles

- Excellent operational skills, including processes, procedures, and data analysis

- Proven team player with excellent communication skills, outstanding organizing abilities, strong attention to detail, and solid analytical acumen

- Legally authorized to work in the US
