## Description

We are seeking a Press Operator to join our team at Multimatic.   You will be responsible for operating a press according to schedule and following QDC procedure steps as per PRO61-10 and PRO62-10.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the press operates according to schedule

- Conduct regular checks while the press is running

- Complete daily production sheets and other required paperwork in a timely manner

- Check and change heat code and date stamp as required

- Pull dies/stamps when jobs are complete or as required

- Accurately tag bins

- Perform regular safety checks on presses

- Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts

- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent work experience

- Mechanical aptitude is necessary

- Ability to load coils from coil cars to feeders

- Ability to start new coils through dies

- Ability to participate in all aspects of quick die changes

- Ability to use SmartPac and Spectrum Systems

- Ability to remove old coils/strips from dies

- Ability to interact with employees at all levels in a multicultural and fast-paced environment

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:   $20.50 - $30.59 per hour.
