## Description

We are seeking a Principal, Associate or Associate Director to join our Infrastructure Planning and Environmental Assessment team at WSP. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with technical specialists and professionals to lead and coordinate the delivery of environmental and sustainability assessment projects. Your work will support clients in addressing long-term strategic challenges such as achieving net zero, providing sustainable water resources, and disposing of radioactive waste.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate environmental and sustainability assessment projects

- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality outcomes

- Develop and implement new assessment tools and techniques

- Drive business growth and team development

- Provide project management and task management to multi-disciplinary teams

- Promote an inclusive and positive team environment

Requirements:

- Experience in leading Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Sustainability Appraisal (SA) projects

- Detailed understanding of SEA regulatory requirements and case law

- Experience with Integrated Impact Assessment (IIA), Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA), and Water Framework Directive (WFD) Assessment

- Relevant environmental or planning degree with chartered status or working towards chartership

- Excellent communication and project management skills

- Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines and manage competing priorities
