## Description

CoreWeave is seeking a Director, Energy Market Development to lead and scale relationships with electric utilities, grid operators, and stakeholders across the United States.

The successful candidate will own CoreWeave's utility engagement strategy, ensuring power availability enables the company's rapid AI infrastructure growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Utility Engagement & Power Access: Acting as the primary executive point of contact for U.S. electric utilities, building deep relationships with utility leadership, and leading discussions around power availability and load growth planning.

- Power Procurement & Commercial Structures: Securing power supply through utility service, special contracts, and tariffs, and negotiating power delivery frameworks that support large AI loads.

- Interconnection & Execution: Driving strategy and execution for large-load interconnections, identifying and addressing bottlenecks in utility processes, and establishing internal playbooks for constrained or high-risk power markets.

- Market Expansion & Site Strategy: Evaluating power feasibility and risk for new sites, and helping CoreWeave gain a competitive advantage by entering markets with strong utility alignment and execution certainty.

- Regulatory & Stakeholder Coordination: Working with legal and public policy teams on utility regulatory matters, supporting engagement with regulators and policymakers, and monitoring evolving utility and regulatory approaches to hyperscale and AI-driven load growth.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in electric utilities, energy infrastructure, grid planning, or large-scale power procurement, with deep understanding of utility operations, transmission and distribution systems, and large-load interconnection processes.

CoreWeave offers a competitive salary range of $161,000 to $237,000, a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, and flexible PTO.
