## Description

We are seeking a Product Owner to play a key role in shaping, prioritising, and delivering products and capabilities within our Corporate Banking and Payments environment.

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with business, technology, and stakeholder teams to translate strategic priorities and customer needs into a clear and deliverable product backlog.

**Purpose of the role** To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.

**Accountabilities**

- Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.

- Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.

- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable, and secure.

- Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.

- Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the bank's performance standards.

- Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.

**Key Skills**

- Backlog Management: Strong experience owning, prioritising, and refining product backlogs, translating requirements into clear user stories, and driving delivery against business priorities.

- Stakeholder Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring together business and technology teams, manage competing priorities, and create alignment.

- Corporate Banking & Payments: Good knowledge of Corporate Banking and/or Payments, with an understanding of relevant products, processes, customer journeys, and the wider banking environment.

**Desirable Skills**

- Technical Literacy: Comfortable working with engineering and technology teams, with the ability to understand technical concepts, dependencies, and constraints.

- Strategic Vision: Ability to connect day-to-day product delivery with the wider product strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and longer-term value.

- UX Empathy: Strong customer focus with the ability to consider user needs, journeys, and pain points when shaping product decisions.
