## Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join our team at BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. in New York.

The successful candidate will implement large-scale major features and new models for Real-time price prediction software using Java and Python programming languages.

Key responsibilities include:

- Partnering with stakeholders to solve business challenges

- Taking ownership and responsibility for large-scale features and major updates

- Using AI tools for project management and programming

- Providing testing and technical support for software data models

- Investigating user-discovered issues and communicating with stakeholders and management teams

- Developing Portfolio Risk analytics software for portfolio construction and investment management teams

- Working as a quantitative developer, implementing historical data collection and optimization methods for investment portfolios

- Utilizing mathematical algorithms for minimizing portfolio risks and maximizing returns

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field

- Five years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst, Software Engineer or a related role

- Experience with Java, Python, SQL, relational databases, Unix/Linux operating systems, and cloud technologies

- Strong understanding of algorithm's operational complexity and experience with AI tools and frameworks

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of USD$193,461.00 - USD$225,000.00, plus benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.

Our hybrid work model allows for flexibility, with a requirement to work at least 4 days in the office per week.
