## Description

We are seeking a part-time practice nurse to join our team at Wimbledon Medical Practice. As a practice nurse, you will provide nursing services to patients, including treatment, screening, and advice within your professional competence. You will work independently in the surgery in the absence of a GP and be responsible for maintaining the treatment room and sterilisation of instruments.

Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing services to patients

- Work independently in the surgery

- Maintain the treatment room and sterilisation of instruments

- Assist doctors as required

- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

- 2 years post-registration experience

- RGN qualification

- Experience of EMIS system

- Knowledge of UKCC Professional Code/Standards and clinical governance

- Ability to communicate verbally and undertake clinical audit

Desirable skills:

- Diabetes management

- Childhood Immunisations

- Asthma management

- Travel immunisations
