## Description

RBC Capital Markets is seeking a Summer Analyst for its Origination program. The program is a 10-week internship that provides hands-on experience in developing ideas and market insights to originate unsecured and secured debt transactions, as well as risk management transactions for clients.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and preserve complex financial models

- Create pitch books and other client materials

- Conduct and present research to identify market trends

- Support live deals and major transactions

- Work closely with senior bankers to understand the business

Requirements:

- Top grades in a four-year US college or university program

- Basic market knowledge and interest in capital markets

- Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice to Have:

- Basic understanding of financial mathematics and concepts

- Technical knowledge of programming/coding languages

- Knowledge of accounting and ability to interpret financial statements

- Familiarity with Bloomberg
